Assembly & Installation

Pinball Machine Assembly in Littleton, CO

Pinball machine assembly in Littleton, CO for cabinet, legs, backbox, external connections, leveling and basic startup setup.

Pinball Machine Setup Scope

Pinball machines usually arrive as a heavy cabinet with legs removed and the backbox folded or detached for transport. Assembly is less about building a flat-pack cabinet and more about supporting the machine safely while legs, backbox and external connections are restored to their operating positions.

This service is for setup of a customer-supplied machine. Cabinet restoration, playfield repair, electronics troubleshooting and moving a machine between properties are separate scopes unless explicitly included.

Heavy Cabinet and Room Access

Pinball cabinets are heavy and awkward, so the final room and access path should be checked before the machine is put on its legs. Stairs, narrow doors and sharp turns can be difficult once the backbox is raised.

The cabinet should be supported appropriately during leg installation rather than balanced on fragile trim or the backbox. If the machine arrives with transport damage, document it before setup.

Legs, Backbox and Connections

Legs and brackets should match their intended positions, and hardware should be tightened after the machine is stable. The backbox can then be raised or attached using the manufacturer's hinge, latch and connector arrangement.

External wiring between cabinet and backbox should be connected only through the labeled plugs and harnesses provided by the machine. Internal repair or board-level work is outside standard assembly.

Leveling the Playfield

Pinball machines use leg levelers to set cabinet height and playfield pitch. The final setting should follow the product's expected range and customer preference without placing the cabinet in an unstable position.

The floor should support all four feet securely. If the cabinet rocks because of floor irregularity, correct leveler adjustment is better than improvised objects under the legs.

Power-Up and Basic Function Check

After the machine is stable and external connectors are complete, a normal startup can confirm that the display and basic controls respond. This does not replace a pinball technician's diagnostic service if switches, coils, lamps or boards fail.

Any error message or obvious malfunction on a newly delivered machine should be documented. The assembly service leaves the machine physically set up and ready for further service if internal repair is required.

FAQ
