Poker Table Types
Poker tables can be folding recreational products, pedestal tables or heavier permanent game-room furniture with padded rails and integrated cup holders. Some arrive with the playing top complete and only require base assembly, while others use several top and rail components.
This service is for poker/card tables. Pool, foosball, air hockey and shuffleboard have separate assembly services because their playing surfaces and leveling requirements differ.
Base and Leg Assembly
The base should be built first so the heavy tabletop can be supported evenly. Folding legs, pedestals and cross braces need to lock in the intended positions without twisting the top.
Hardware should be tightened after the frame is square. A loose pedestal or folding latch can make an otherwise assembled table unstable during normal use.
Tabletop, Rail and Cup Holders
Padded rails and cup-holder sections may attach from below or around the perimeter of the playing surface. They should be aligned without compressing upholstery or damaging the edge of the top.
If the table includes removable accessories or a dining conversion top, those pieces should be checked for fit after the main assembly is complete. Damaged felt or upholstery is a product condition rather than an assembly adjustment.
Surface Protection and Alignment
The playing surface should remain protected during assembly because scratches, adhesive residue or pressure marks are difficult to correct after the table is upright. Avoid placing hardware directly on the felt or speed cloth.
When top sections join, seams should align as the manufacturer intended. The service does not refelt or professionally recover a table unless that work is separately scoped.
Leveling and Room Clearance
Adjustable feet or levelers can be used to prevent rocking and keep chips or cards from sliding noticeably toward one side. The table also needs chair clearance around the perimeter and a path for players to enter and leave.
Final placement should be decided before the table is fully loaded with accessories. A large assembled table can be difficult to turn through a doorway later.
